David Towns, MD
Dr. Towns, originally from a small Northern Vermont town of 1,200 residents, received his fellowship and certification in interventional pain management at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire. As a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist with a specialty in pain management, he treats a wide range of chronic pain conditions, with a focus on spinal issues and severe pain.
Dr. Towns takes a multi-modal approach, using a combination of physical and injection therapies, such as spinal cord stimulation and medication management, to improve patient functionality and decision-making. He is dedicated to reducing reliance on narcotics and educating patients on a variety of treatment options to achieve the best possible results.
In his personal time, Dr. Towns enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He is passionate about scuba diving, finding tranquility in the underwater world. He is also in the process of obtaining a pilot’s license. Additionally, Dr. Towns loves hiking scenic trails and traveling to new destinations, enriching his life with diverse experiences and adventures.
Mandy Neblett, FNP-C
Mandy Neblett, DNP, FNP-C, is the Assistant Medical Director at Sun Pain Management. As a Doctor of Nursing Practice and Family Nurse Practitioner, she has extensive experience in Infectious Disease, Public Health/Community Health, Internal Medicine, and Pain Management. She initially specialized as a registered nurse in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit.
Since 2011, Mandy has been working as a Family Nurse Practitioner and earned her Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2021. Originally from Phoenix, she enjoys spending quality time with her two children and family.

A dual certified Nurse Practitioner in acute care and family practice, Ms. Overbey works with patients to improve their quality of life and pain experience.
Sue Hesketh, NP
A board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Ms. Hesketh has experience in pain management, orthopedics, internal medicine, pre-and post-operative care, physical medicine, rehabilitation, and home health. Her goal in treating her patients is to empower them to manage their pain and increase their quality of life.
Kara Hill, ACNP- BC
Kara Hill has been a dedicated nurse practitioner since 2018, bringing a wealth of experience in critical care, pulmonology, and pain management. Her passion for her work is evident in her belief that there is a solution for even the most stubborn pain.
Kara is determined to assist those who feel they have exhausted all options, ensuring each patient knows she is in their corner. She strives to improve their well-being, both emotionally and physically, with unwavering commitment.
Beyond her professional life, Kara enjoys a variety of hobbies. She loves traveling with her husband, ice skating, and immersing herself in a good book. These activities not only bring her joy but also help her maintain a balanced and fulfilling life, which she believes is crucial for providing the best care to her patients.

Lisa Peter, FNP-C
Lisa Peter is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in emergency medicine and urgent care at Sun Pain Management. Before transitioning into pain management, she worked in high-volume ER and urgent care settings, honing her skills in rapid clinical decision-making and delivering compassionate, patient-focused care.
Originally from California’s Bay Area, Lisa now calls Scottsdale, Arizona home, where she lives with her husband and their two young children. Outside of her clinical practice, she enjoys staying active, focusing on wellness, and spending quality time with her family.
Jennifer Sutton – MSN, FNP-C
Jennifer Sutton is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 25 years of nursing experience—including 18 years in emergency medicine. An Arizona native, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix and has practiced across family medicine, urgent care, and pain management.
As a dedicated pain specialist at Sun Pain Management, Jennifer focuses on therapeutic injections and advanced interventional procedures designed to help patients living with chronic pain improve function and quality of life. She is passionate about providing comprehensive, individualized care, helping patients find relief and regain mobility so they can get back to the activities they love.
Known for her compassion and attentive listening, she strives to understand each patient as she would a loved one—creating a supportive, trust-based partnership in care.
Outside of her clinical work, Jennifer is her daughters #1 fan and never misses a soccer game! She loves hiking Arizona’s scenic trails, and spending time with her lively pack of Great Danes.

John Kycey, CRNA is a Nurse Anesthetist with experience in pain management since 2010.
